Golden Gate in Victorville

Golden Gate is a really nice Chinese restaurant where you can wear your jeans. The dining room is very attractive and the wait staff is quiet and professional. Their egg rolls are not too greasy, the prices reasonable for the experience. They make egg foo young the best around.

My daughter came in from Ohio and was hungry for Chinese food. I called in an order to Golden gate Chinese food and spent $116.10. I went and picked it up and got it home. The duck I ordered was raw, Literally bloody and the beef in the lo mein was raw. My grandson is allergic to peas so I said no peas in the rice because my grandson is very allergic to them. I made sure they understood that. There was peas in the rice but thank God we checked it before he ate it. Very very dissatisfied with this place and will never eat there again

It is a nice restaurant. Located near Home Depot and the area that used to be Walmart. The meals are quite delicious. The place itself is quite clean. Furthermore, there is usually ample of space to sit down and enjoy the meal. The wait time for meals is not that long. In addition, it is not expensive, so for budget tight people, it might be a good idea to visit this restaurant.

Love this restaurant! Prices are reasonable the food was delicious the portions were more then enough. The customer service excellent! I felt comfortable and welcomed.

Love this place been going here since late 90s what a awesome place to eat at golden gate Chinese food. The lady that helped was named Fiorina what a pleasant and helpful lady. She was so knowledgeable about all the entree s .I will definitely go back as usual . I always buy take out and sometimes dine in. But this place and service is out of the world. 5 star for sure

Tried this restaurant for the first time today. I purchased a three person meal deal for takeout. The wait was not long, and the food was very tasty. The portion size was good. The parking is more than adequate and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. Good value for quality. The food was not overly greasy or salty, but was prepared to allow the taste to come through. On the wall they have hung a variety of awards for best restaurant in the High Desert. They had furniture for those waiting, and we asked for some ice water to drink while we waited which they were happy to provide. Nice customer service. I definitely would return. Good Job!

Their food and staff have always been very good. People are nice, friendly not to mention they are quick and very proficient. The food is freshly made with the flavors that seem to make you smile with every bite.

Golden Gate is a family favorite and we often end up there for lunch when in the area. This time we went for dinner. For lunch we normally each order individual lunch specials, but at dinner we went family style and ordered a set of dishes. One advantage at dinner is we can order their Egg Foo Yung, which is really good and made a bit differently than other Chinese restaurants. We also ordered Almond Chicken, Fried Rice and Twice Cooked Pork. With the appetizers that came with our meal, we had plenty of food and took a bunch home. The food was very good, as always, and the service solid. I know we will be back.
